It is with a sad heart that the Visiting Nurse Association of Newtown Inc has had to close down the loan closet portion of our organization. Insurance carriers will no longer provide coverage for loaning out medical equipment. We have mailed letters out to residents stating that we are “terminating the lending relationship and are relinquishing ownership and responsibility for the equipment to you, the borrower. As such, our lender/borrower relationship is terminated.”

If you need free medical equipment, please call 203-270-4377, and we can refer you to another provider.
