Gremlins 20, Ramblers 15: Michael Stirk once again did a great job leading the Gremlins to victory from his quarterback position. Stirk scored a touchdown and Lexy âprimetimeâ Leidlein got the call on an end-around and found the corner. She raced 35 yards for six points. The Gremlins also got some help from Tess Davenport as she pulled down an interception from her linebacker position. Davenport had a clear shot to the end zone to cap the scoring for the Gremlins.
Nicolai LaPierre has been key for the Ramblers this season and he snagged both TD for his team this week. The Ramblers kept pounding the ball up the middle and grinding out first downs. Gavin Conners pulled down a nice pass for a first down to keep them moving the chains. The one interception on a forced throw was the difference-maker this week.

Avengers 25, Rebels 17: The Avengers had everyone contribute and got a long-awaited win this weekend against the speedy Rebels. The defenses were strong for both teams but Matt Rice ran in 2 TDs and caught a perfect pass over the middle from Michael Murgatroyd who also caught a TD pass of his own, thrown by Shane Kelly. On the defensive side, Kelly snagged an interception and returned it for a TD. Seth Willis plowed in for two extra points to keep the game just out of reach for the Rebels. The Rebels put up a fight and fired back with their weapons too. The young and speedy Darren Warren ran well and scored a key TD for the Rebels to get the team fired up. DJ Lourenco played a major role as he scored two TDs for his team, but it just wasnât enough.
