Abbey Doski Wins Golf Title Again

Newtown High School golfer Abbey Doski won the South-West Conference girls’ golf championship for the second consecutive year.

The sophomore shot a 92, 18 strokes over par, at Orange Hills Country Club (par 74) in Orange. She had five pars and eight bogeys. Two girls tied for second place, each shooting 93.

Doski is a member of Newtown High’s boys’ golf team since there is no girls’ team at the school. Doski and the Nighthawks improved to 11-4 overall and 10-1 in SWC play this week.
