Weeknight Slo-Pitch
The Newtown Weeknite Menâs Slo-Pitch Softball League is asking managers of teams interested in participating to call Chris Dennis at 770-1824 (managers who have already contacted him are asked to contact him again because of some lost information). There will be a league meeting at the end of May.
Nighthawks Basketball Camp
The Nighthawks Basketball Camp â led by certified P.E. instructors and coaches Steve Dreger and Ryan Carey â will be held through June and July at Reed Intermediate School. The camp will focus on the fundamentals and rules of the game. Session I will be held from June 28 through July 2, 9 to 11:30 am for players in grades 2-4 and from 9 am to 1 pm for players in greades 5 and 6. Session II will be held July 5-9 and Session III will be held from July 12-16, both with the same schedules. The fee is $85 for players in grades 2-4 and $135 for players in grades 5-6. Westconn Basketball Camp

Namath/Dockery Camp
The Joe Namath/John Dockery Football Camp will run from June 27 through July 2 at Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts. National Football League players expected to participate include Anthony Becht and Kareem McKenzie of the Jets; Wayne Lucier and Dhani Jones of the Giants; Damon Huard, Antwan Harris and Deion Branch of the Patriots.The camp is open to players ages 8 to 18. Quarterback Camp
Complete QB will be conducting a two-day Quarterback Development Camp at Notre Dame Catholic High School in Fairfield Tuesday and Wednesday, June 29-30. Quarterbacks in grades 5 through 12 attending the camp are provided with outstanding instruction in a quarterbacks-only environment. There will also be a free quarterback development clinic â open to all attending coaches â to be held after the second practice on June 30. Row, Row, Row Your Boat
The New Haven Rowing Club will hold Learn to Row classes for men and women starting Tuesday and Wednesday, June 1 and 2. There will be 12 on-the-water sessions (90 minutes each) over the course of four weeks (fee is $180). Classes will be taught by NHRC rowers at the boat house on the Housatonic River.
