Legion Post 143 Dedication Ceremony

STRATFORD — American Legion Post 143 in Stratford will dedicate its new flagpole and World War II monument on May 29 to coincide with the dedication of the national World War II monument in Washington, D.C.

The dedication at the Lt Owen Fish Memorial at Owen Fish Park will take place at 2 pm. The base area around the flagpole and monument will be inlaid with inscribed memorial bricks. Personalized bricks are available for a minimum donation of $50 per brick.
