*The BLUES TRAVELER show that had been set for June 24 in Mohegan Sun Casinoâs Wolf Den has been postponed due to âa personal matter with the band,â according to a note that arrived from the casino on May 24. Interestingly, the show was still listed on the bandâs website Tuesday morning, but the casinoâs website does note the show will be rescheduled for âa date in the near future.â
Meanwhile, an MC HAMMER show has been scheduled for the same night.
*MATTHEW MORRISONâs solo tour, which was scheduled to hit Ives Concert Park on July 3, has been cancelled. Morrison announced last week that he had been given an opportunity âtoo big to miss,â and has instead agreed to join the NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK-BACKSTREET BOYS summer tour as a special guest.
Canât really blame the guy: The move means postponing some of his own solo shows but gives Morrison a larger platform, performing in arenas across the US in joining one of the most talked about tours of the summer.
âThis was an opportunity I couldnât pass up,â Morrison said via press release. âI am so appreciative of my fans and Iâm planning to give them a great show.â
Ives Concert Parkâs ticket vendor, InTicketing, will contact the people who bought tickets via the system regarding refunds.
The NKOTBSB tour has shows scheduled for May 30 and June 2 at Mohegan Sun Arena, and tickets were still available for both shows as of Tuesday morning.
*TRACE ADKINS has a September 4 show scheduled at Mohegan Sun Arena. Tickets will be going on sale Saturday, June 11, at 10 am, and it looks like all seats will be $45.
