Garden Tour In Monroe

MONROE — Monroe Historical Society is planning a tour of five beautiful gardens on Saturday, June 11, from 1 to 5 pm (rain date June 12). Each garden is unique and will provide visitors with great ideas to personalize their own gardens.

In addition, artists Joe DeMarco of Shelton and Philip Levine of Stratford, who create garden sculptures, will have their work featured in two of the gardens.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance at Monroe Library, Monroe Town Clerk’s office, Country Hearts, Sunshine Nursery, all in Monroe. Tickets will also be available the day of the tour at the Beardsley Homestead, 31 Great Ring Road in Monroe. 

Light refreshments will be offered at each venue.
