God And Me Presentations

The Rev Sue Klein, deacon, proudly presented “God and Me” awards to Brownie Scout members of the Newtown United Methodist Church during the church’s recent Children’s Day.

 As part of this four-week Bible study, the girls explored their relationship with God, learned about the essential parts of prayer, and learned to recite the Lord’s Prayer.

 The scouts received special pins in recognition of their accomplishments. They included Katie Stawiasz, Katelyn Zimmerman, Aspen Kraushaar, Callie Kaushaar, Lindsey Hoyt, and Rachael Williams. These scouts are all part of the Girl Scout Council of Southwestern Connecticut, Inc.
