Search For Oldest Worker

GARDNER, MASS. — Green Thumb, Inc., the country’s largest nonprofit provider of mature-worker training and employment, has launched its yearly search for America’s Oldest Worker. An outstanding older worker is chosen from every state and honored in Washington, DC.

Nominee must be 65 years or older, a resident of Connecticut employed a minimum of 20 hours per week for pay, and be willing to travel to Washington in October 2000 for Prime Time Awards events. Employees or workers who wish to nominate a valued older employee may contact Green Thumb’s New England office for nomination forms.
