Intro To Judaism Course

GREENWICH — An Introduction to Judaism course will be held beginning June 14 at the Greenwich Reform Synagogue. The course is sponsored by the Greater New York Council of Reform Synagogues of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations.

It will be facilitated by Rabbi Richard Chapin, formerly of Congregation Emanu-El of the city of New York.

The course is for individuals exploring conversion, Jews in interfaith relationships, non-Jews, and born Jews, and provides a basic understanding of Jewish observances, lifecycle events, holidays, and history. Classes will be held twice a week for seven weeks from 7 to 9 pm.
