ProgramExamines Aging Issues

DANBURY — “Aging Times: Signs and Symptoms of Memory Loss, Dementia, and Alzheimer’s Disease” will be the topic for discussion at the next Danbury Hospital Medical Town Meeting. The community health and wellness program, co-sponsored by Danbury Hospital and the Danbury Office of Physician Services, PC, will take place on Tuesday, June 6, from 7 to 8:30 pm at Danbury Hospital’s auditorium, 24 Hospital Avenue.

Orestes J. Arcuni, MD, chairman of the hospital’s department of psychiatry, and Melissa Cornelis, senior speech and language pathologist in the hospital’s physical medicine and rehabilitation department, will address the signs and symptoms of memory loss, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease. Ms Cornelis also will facilitate the evening program.

Ample time will be allowed for audience questions. Medical Town Meetings are free and open to the public. No RSVP is required. Park free in the visitor’s lot/blue garage area, Hospital Avenue entrance.
