Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to 38 calls during the period May 13-19.
There were 18 medical calls, 13 trauma calls, and 7 standby/other calls.
Medical: 2 respiratory, 6 cardiac, 2 seizure, 1 diabetic, 7 miscellaneous.
Trauma: 4 vehicular, 9 non-vehicular.
Twenty-four persons were transported to the hospital; 14 were not transported.
Ages: Infant to 8, 4; ages 9-21, 1; 22-60, 12, over 60, 21.
There were 22 males; 16 females.
Time of day: midnight to 8 am, 3 calls; 8 am to 4 pm, 23 calls; 4 pm to midnight, 12 calls.
