William P. Carboy
William P. Carboy, Jr, 62, of Pastorâs Walk, Newtown, died May 22 in Newtown.
Mr Carboy was born in Port Jervis, N.Y., on May 29, 1927, a son of William P. and Irene (Shields) Carboy of Cuddebackville, N.Y. He served in Korea during peacetime in the US Army.
Mr Carboy was a resident of Newtown the past 37 years. He was employed as a collection agent for the Credit Center, Inc, of Danbury. For many years Mr Carboy was a member of the United Fire Company of Botsford.
Mr Carboy was predeceased by his wife Barbara (Bush) Carboy, who died May 6, 2000.
In addition to his parents, survivors include a son, William Randy Carboy of Northport, Fla.; a daughter, Gail (Carboy) Grossman of Newtown; two brothers, Thomas and Neil Carboy of Cuddebackville, N.Y., and five grandchildren, Melissa and Lisa Grossman, and Matthew, Heather and Scott Carboy.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, May 27, at 10 am, at Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown. There are no calling hours.
