Pasta Dinner On June 3
The next monthly pasta dinner will be held Saturday, June 3, at Newtown United Methodist Church. Dinner is served from 5 to 7:30 pm. Donation is $7 per adult, $6 for seniors and $3.50 for children. All proceeds are used for the repayment of funds loaned for Wesley Hall.
The church is at 92 Church Hill Road in Sandy Hook.
Dinner includes fruit cup, a wonderful salad with choice of dressings, pasta with choice of sauces (meatless, mild or spicy), garlic bread, soft drink/coffee and a selection of homemade desserts.
At 7:45, directly following dinner, will be the Newtown United Methodist Coffee House, featuring Newtownâs award-winning bluegrass musician Roger Sprung, who performs with his friend Hal Wylie and several other jamming band members. This is a wholesome evening of good pickinâ, singinâ and participation by all who attend and is appropriate for family and/or adult entertainment.
The entertainment fee is $3 with dinner, of $4 for anyone who would like to visit the hall for the performance only. The fee covers the music, which usually runs from 7:45 to 10:30 pm and also includes refreshments available during the performance. Drop by, bring your fiends or meet new ones.
