Holiday Closings

 

All town offices will be closed on Monday, May 29, in honor of Memorial Day.

The schools, the senior center, C.H. Booth Library, and the transfer station/recycling center at the former landfill on Ethan Allen Road also will be closed. Curbside recycling will not be picked up on Monday, and will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week.

All Department of Motor Vehicle offices will close at 12:30 pm on Friday, June 26, and will remain closed until 8 am on Tuesday, May 30. Emission stations will be closed only on Sunday, May 28, and Monday, May 29, for the holiday.

The offices of The Newtown Bee will also be closed Monday.
