To Be Staged In Trumbull
TRUMBULL â An adaptation of Charlotteâs Web, the beloved childrenâs classic by E.B. White, will be presented in three performances by The Lighthouse Theatre Project of Trumbull.
The play will be performed at Christian Heritage School, at 575 White Plains Road. Showtimes are set for Friday and Saturday, June 2 and 3, at 7:30 pm, and a matinee on Saturday at 1 pm. Ticket prices are $5 for children and $7 for adults. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance by calling the Lighthouse Theatre box office at 256-8658.
Charlotteâs Web is the uplifting tale of a little girl named Fern who loved a pig named Wilbur, and of Wilburâs dear friend, Charlotte the spider, who devises a clever plan to save Wilburâs life. It is a story of friendship, loyalty and the magic of childhood on the farm.
The adaptation, by playwright Joseph Robinette, captures the gentle charm of the original book and is perfect for the whole family to see together. Cast members include students from Christian Heritage School and home-educated students from the Fairfield County area.
