The terrible storm last week brought out praiseworthy efforts from the town, volunteer fire departments, Eversource, community services, and neighbors. Thanks!

In the midst of this, I was particularly impressed by the Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Day, Saturday. That it was not canceled was impressive. It was very well organized, and I have a special appreciation for all those helpful people standing in the rain to make the recycling effort a pleasant drive-through experience. Thanks.
