Venitelli Recital On May 25

A benefit recital by Vincent Venitelli will be held at Newtown United Methodist Church, 92 Church Hill Road in Sandy Hook, on Sunday, May 25.

The Hummel Trumpet Concerto, the Neruda Trumpet Concerto, and Trumpeter’s Lullaby are among the works to be performed.

The Rev E. Sue Klein, deacon of Newtown United Methodist Church, will accompany him.

The performances will begin at 4 pm in the church’s sanctuary. Admissin is free, although freewill donations will be forwarded to community relief programs.

Mr Venitelli is a senior at Newtown High School, and in the fall will attend Ithaca College, where he will study music education.
