NYS Fundraiser A Success

For anyone who heard fabulous music emanating from the Edmond Town Hall on Friday night, it was not the movie, The Pianist, but the sounds of the Hat City Blues Band performing a wonderful benefit concert for Newtown Youth Services. It was a great evening with over 70 people in attendance, dancing and singing along.

The staff and board of Newtown Youth Services would like to thank the Hat City Blues Band for their generosity and efforts on our behalf. Not only did they offer their talent and time but they secured the support of many local businesses and raised nearly $2,000 for our agency. The businesses participating included: William Pitt Real Estate, Taunton Press, Curtiss & Crandon Realtors, Dr Curt Riebeling, the Hat City Blues Band members, Dr Henry Gellert, Lux & Timmel, attorneys at law, Newtown Insurance, Prudential Real Estate, Sue Catino, EJ Ryan and Friends of Hat City Blues Band, Michael Nahoum, attorney at law, My Place Restaurant, Kings Restaurant, Newtown Car Care Center, Amaral Motors, Ice Cream Shop, and Starbucks.

We appreciate all of the people who came out on Friday night to enjoy a great family evening and support Newtown Youth Services at the same time. What a great night!
