Life Drawing Session

The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN) will host a life drawing session with a professional model at Newtown Meeting House on Wednesday, May 28, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The session is open to the public; cost for all attendees is $7. The program will be in the lower level meeting room of the building, at 31 Main Street in Newtown (at the flagpole).

Bring sketch material or paints. There will be approximately ten poses varying from short five-minute to 20-minute poses. Reservations are not necessary.

The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown, organized approximately 35 years ago, is not-for-profit art organization incorporated in the State of Connecticut to serve artists in and around Fairfield and Litchfield counties as well as Eastern New York.

Membership includes painters in a variety of media, including printmakers and sculptors. SCAN also offers workshops of one day to a week duration with artists of national prominence, as well as twice-monthly demonstration programs with recognized artists.
