Frank Dawe

Frank Dawe, 82, of Trumbull, a retired inspector for Sikorsky Aircraft, died on May 17 at St Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport.

Born in Bridgeport, Mr Dawe had been lifelong area resident.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years, Justine (Voros) Dawe of Trumbull; three sons, Barry P. Dawe and his wife, Jean, of Newtown, Alan R. Dawe of Earville, N.Y., and Rodger W. Dawe of Trumbull; a grandson, Erik P. Dawe of Los Angeles, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, John Dawe, and a sister, Audrey Comcheck.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 23, at 11 am, in the Spear Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield, with the Rev Dr Arthur L. McClanahan officiating. Interment will follow in Mt Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.

Calling hours were scheduled on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm in the funeral home.
