‘Local Color’ At Burnham Library

BRIDGEWATER — Oil paintings by Bridgewater resident Kathryn Barlow will be on display during June at The Burnham Library.

Ms Barlow studied with Adel Sagher and later with Ira Barkoff at Washington Art Association. She prefers painting landscapes because she seeks shapes in still life that may translate as organic forms similar to those in nature.

Ms Barlow will host a public reception for her show at the library on Sunday, June 4, from 4 to 6 pm. All are welcome.

Burnham Library hours are Tuesday, 1 to 5 pm; Wednesday, 9 am to 6 pm; Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm; and Saturday, 9 am to 1 pm. The library is on Route 133 in the center of Bridgewater.
