Tennis is in full swing, and the Newtown Tennis Association (NTA) has a lot going on. NTA, this spring, donated $200 to each the Newtown High School girls’ and boys’ tennis teams, and paid for and installed wind screens at the Newtown High courts.

NTA’s Sunday drop-in tennis for all ages is underway, and offered at Treadwell Park on Sundays at 9:30 am. Participants must join the NTA and registration costs $20; visit https://newtowntennisassociation.com for information.

The Tennis Open will not be held this spring, but NTA officials are looking to host the tournament in the fall.
