Rita B. Zacher, 89, formerly of Newtown and a long-time parishioner of St Rose of Lima Church in Newtown, died May 20, in York, Penn. She was the wife of the late Irving C. Zacher.

Two daughters, Carol Rinkoff and Susan Krushenski; four grandchildren, Matt and Evan Rinkoff, Samantha Krushenski, and Andrew Blake; and two great-grandchildren survive Mrs Zacher.

 A private Mass will be celebrated at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church in York. Interment will be private at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
