Joe Namath/ John Dockery Camp
The Joe Namath/John Dockery Instructional Football Camp will host its 39th annual contact and noncontact program for boys ages 8â18 this summer.
The camp runs June 27 through July 2 at Western Connecticut State University.
Namath, a member of the NFL Hall of Fame, will conduct the camp and be joined by camp director John Dockery and their former Super Bowl teammates Winston Hill and Dave Herman, who will be at practices during the week.
Additionally, current NFL players will be at the camp. The coaching staff will include former Newtown High player Joey DeVellis, along with college, high school, and pre-high school coaches.
Players will be grouped according to ability, size, maturity, and previous athletic experience.
Cost is $775 for overnight campers and $475 for day campers.
Quarterback, weight training, and speed development clinics are also offered for $75.
