Emily Alexa Anderson

Jessica and Russell Anderson of Sandy Hook announce the birth of a daughter, Emily Alexa Anderson, born April 15, at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Emily weighed 7 pounds, 14.6 ounces at birth, and was 20¼ inches in length.

Emily joins a brother, Theodore, age 3.

Maternal grandparents are Dorothy and Brian Schlier of Newtown.

Elizabeth and Ronald Anderson of Mountain View, Calif., are the paternal grandparents.
