Kylee and Brian Gioiele of Papoose Hill Road, Newtown, announce the birth of a daughter, Victoria Rose Gioiele, on April 15 at Milford Hospital.

Victoria Rose weighed seven pounds, four ounces and she was 20¾ inches long.

She joins her brother, Jeffrey Gioiele, age 2.

Maternal grandparents are Jan and Charles Abeling of Torrington.

Paternal grandparents are Jean and Louis Gioiele of Little River, S.C.

Heather and Jason Almeter of Sandy Hook announce the birth of a son, Alec Dennis Almeter, on May 4 at Danbury Hospital. 

Alec weighed nine pounds, ten ounces, and he was 21½  inches long. 

He joins a sister, Arline, 4, and a brother, Aidan, 2. 

Maternal grandparents are Dennis Stevens and Leigh Finley of Norwalk, and the late Melanie Stevens. 

Paternal grandparents are Holly and Leonard Almeter of Arcade, N.Y.

Great-grandparents are Mrs Gene Clarrissimeaux of Dallas, Texas; Gladys Hudson of Delevan, N.Y.; and Lela Peterson of Scranton, Iowa.
