International Celebration To Debut In Brookfield

BROOKFIELD — The public is invited to spend part of Memorial Day Weekend at the first International Cultural Festival being presented Saturday, May 29, on the lawn of Brookfield Town Hall.

The Brookfield Arts Commission is coordinating an event that will offer Irish and Japanese bands, and Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Brazilian, Philippine and Russian foods. Also will be offered ethnic dancing, henna tattoos, International crafts, Caribbean drinks, bag pipers, pony rides, face painting and much more.

Admission is free.

The festival will run from noon to 4 pm. Rain date will be Monday, May 31, also noon to 4 pm.
