Free GPS Clinic

DANBURY — Eastern Mountain Sports and The Outing Club will sponsor a free Global Positioning System (GPS) clinic on Wednesday, June 16, at Tarrywile Park. Space for is limited and preregistration is required by May 28.

The clinic will cover the basic concepts of how a GPS uses a satellite-based navigation system made up of a network of 24 satellites and how to use one in the outdoors. The clinic will incorporate the teaching of basic concepts with hands on.
