Fraser-Woods Teacher Appreciation Day

The Fraser Woods Montessori School Parent Association recently held its Teacher Appreciation Day festivities, thanking the school’s faculty for serving the children not only as teachers, but also as guides and role models. Diane Dupsyk posted school placards of quotes from parents and children expressing appreciation and gratitude for their teachers throughout the school.

On May 12, each student brought decorated paper petals to class, which the parents collected to make beautiful flowers, which were presented to teachers at a special luncheon on May 13. Parent Association Chairperson Wendy Janesky coordinated the flower making activity.

Cathy Hayden coordinated the May 13 luncheon. Parents helped set up, serve, or clean up the meal. They supplied food and drinks and watched the students so that the teachers could enjoy a longer lunch period.

Teachers also won raffles and each took home a handcrafted potpourri satchel.
