Due to inclement weather last weekend, the May 16 Sunday at the Sanctuary event at the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary has been rescheduled. The event is free and all ages are welcome, but registration is required.

The public is invited from noon to 1:30 pm to the sanctuary, located at 3 Old Farm Road, on Sunday, May 23, to meet ambassador animals from Newbury Farm, Rising Starr Horse Rescue, and 4-H Club, including goats, pigs, horses, and more. Experts will share tips for keeping a friendly, healthy, and humane farm.

Rising Starr Horse Rescue will also have adoptable animals available.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
