Tying It All Together, Integrating the Microsoft Office Suite to Suit Your Needs - A one-session class from 6:30 to 9 pm Monday, May 23, $39. Participants will learn how to use Microsoft Office products, like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, more effectively in their daily work load.

Rockefeller Estate and Union Church, Tarrytown, N.Y. - An excursion to the Rockefeller Estate Kykuit and Union Church highlighting the home to four generations of the Rockefeller family will depart Newtown High School approximately at 8:30 am Saturday, June 4; the cost is $99. Kykuit (pronounced "Kye-cut") commands a breathtaking view of the Hudson River and a landscape of extensive stone terraces, formal gardens, and glorious fountains. The gardens include Nelson Rockefeller's extraordinary collection of 20th Century sculpture including works by Moore, Calder, Nevelson, and Picasso. The house is furnished with antiques, fine ceramics, and paintings. The Coach Barn houses vintage automobiles and carriages. Participants will have a guided tour, and they will have time to enjoy lunch in downtown Tarrytown. The afternoon will consist of a guided tour of the Union Church in Pocantico Hills, which is adorned with stained glass windows by Marc Chagall and Henri Matisse that were commissioned by the Rockefeller Family. They create dramatic combinations of light and color at this small country church.
