The South-West Conference playoffs, originally scheduled to begin on Saturday, will start on Friday, May 22, when Notre Dame-Fairfield visits for a 4 pm start. Newtown, which went 16-4 overall, and 13-1 in conference play, is the top seed, and Notre Dame is seeded eighth.
