Reminder: NMS Student Council Collecting Coats

The Newtown Middle School Student Council is continuing its effort to collect clean, gently used coats to donate to a Native American reservation in South Dakota.

The council will be collecting clean winter coats, both child and adult sizes, through the middle of June. Donations of new hats, scarves, mittens, and gloves are also welcome. Items will be donated to help families living on the reservation.

Donations can be dropped off at the school’s B-Wing office.
