The Fairfield Hills Master Plan Review Committee wants to hear from you!

I have lived in Newtown over 40 years, and I have never witnessed a group of citizens devote so much time and energy to execute their assigned task. The FFH Master Plan Review Committee has spent countless hours studying and researching the pros and cons of almost every aspect of the FFH property. They have conducted three public participation sessions and are now asking all citizens to complete their public survey either via computers or by a paper survey available at the senior center.

Brilliantly, they provide a summary of their research and findings before asking the reader to respond to a series of questions on each topic in the survey. You will find the questions both thought-provoking and informative. The tone of the survey is both realistic and hopeful.

Most of all, the FFH Master Plan Review Committee wants to know the vision, hopes, and dreams that Newtowners have for the FFH property. They intend to complete their report soon and submit it to the Board of Selectmen in June. May 27 is the deadline for the survey. Please participate.
