Adopt From The Pound

The following cat and dog are among those available for adoption from the Newtown pound, which is located at the end of Ethan Allen Road (behind the transfer station).

SASSY is a 2-3 year old spayed female tuxedo cat. She is very sweet and just needs a nice home where she will be loved. She is one of many animals who, for one reason or another, has a had a bumpy road her whole life and truly deserves a chance at a nice life and a home where she will become a member of the family. DANTE is a 3 year old neutered Pit bull. He is black with a white chest. All four paws are also white. This very handsome guy weighs 72 pounds. He is a powerful dog but also easy to handle. He likes people, other dogs, and would do well with children. He seems eager to please and his young age makes him an ideal candidate to learn whatever new things a new owner would like to teach him. His short-haired coat makes him easy to care for and nicely displays his well-developed body.
