Knights 12, Westport 5 – The Knights scored seven runs in the fifth inning and broke open a tight game. Leading the 11-hit attack were Tyler Edwards (two runs, three hits) and Keith McGrath (two hits, two RBI), each banging out a long triple. Also contributing to the balanced offense were Jeff Spencer (two hits, two runs) Tory Deakin (double, two RBI) and Dale Neves (two hits, RBI). Spencer pitched four solid innings in relief and was backed by nice defensive plays by Evan Barreto and McGrath.

U14/15

Ryder Management 8, Brautigam Land Surveyors – Chris Marks, Nick Ryder, Drew Woods, Dave Bray and Mike Coates combined on the mound to lead Ryder to the win. Brian Kuruc had a pair of hits and two runs scored. Nick Wolf and Dale Neves led the Brautigam offense.

U11

Connolly Woodworks 12, Newtown Tree Service 5 – Will Arndt had two RBI and pitched two innings of solid relief while Scott Keating and Greg Williamson each had an RBI and a run scored to contribute to the win for Connolly Woodworks.

Enterprise Electric 11, Newtown Savings 3 – Ian McWilliams reached base in all four plate appearance with a single and three walks, Austin Bonadio was 3-for-3 and walked twice, while Jack McManus added a base hit and scored twice to lead the Enterprise attack. Mack Morlock belted a deep two-run double to drive in the winning run.

Connolly Woodworks 14, Newtown Savings Bank 12 – Olivers Powers crushed a three-run homer into the Glander parking lot while Clayton Makuch added a three-run triple to lead the Connolly offense. Tim Wilder contributed two doubles and Makuch also pitched one inning of shutout ball. For Newtown Savings, Matthew Wielibinski, Patrick Sullivan and Kyle Hagerman each contributed in a tightly fought battle.

Newtown Tree Service 17, Enterprise Electric 16 – Austin Bonadio was 4-for-5 with two triples, Sean Ross went 3-for-4, and Matt Morlock had two hits and knocked in four runs to lead the Enterprise offense while turning in two defensive gems at third base.

Union Savings Bank 7, Newtown Savings Bank 1 – Michael Greenwood and Jack Kneisel each had two hits and Jake Tolson pitched very well for Newtown Savings.

Connolly Woodworks 15, Enterprise Electric 5 – Tim Bloom went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI to lead Connolly Woodworks. Oliver Powers added three hits with a single, double, triple and four RBI. Ryan O’Keefe scored three runs and stole five bases. For Enterprise, Richie Sandler reached base in all three plate appearances with a single and two walks while Kenny Toal had a hit and a run to lead the offense. Matt Pruner made a great diving stab on a groundball to rob a base hit.

Coldwell Banker 12, Enterprise Electric 6 – Matt Pruner had two hits, Richie Sandler added two hits and a walk, and Sean Ross reached base in all three plate appearances and added two runs for Enterprise Electric.

U10

Mastercard 14, Base Technologies 13 – Mike Allwein singled home Alex Roche with the game winner in the bottom of the sixth to lead Mastercard. Tyler Gibney and Wes Tardie pitched well. For Base Tech, Gary Braun (two doubles) and Ben Stollar (3-for-4) crushed the ball as Matt Spencer went 3-for-3 with three runs scored.

U8

Mobil 1 Lube Express 10, DaSilva Law 6 – Jonathan Sherman went 4-for-4 and scored two runs and Sawyer Conrad went 3-for-3 to lead Mobil 1 to the win. Darryl Silverlieg had a pair of singles and a double while Stephen Grasso added a double for DaSilva.

Coldwell Banker/Tendler Real Realtors 4, Associated Refuse 3 – Kevin Conte went 3-for-3 and clubbed a bases-loaded double in the last inning to lead Coldwell/Tendler to the win. Peter Manfredonia was strong in the field. For Associated, Clayton Gattey and Alex Klang each went 3-for-3 while Christopher Spalvieri and Curtis Giles played solid D.

BW Retail Real Estate 13, Apex Glass 5 – Jeremy Doski was 4-for-4 with two doubles and five RBI to lead BW to the win. Curtis Williamson had a pair of hits and four RBI while Anthony Vournazos went 3-for-3 and played well at third. For Apex, Glen DaMota and William Montgomery played well.

Associated Refuse 13, Fairfield County Irrigation 7 – Deegan Beauchemin was 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles to power Associated. Richie Sadlon anchored the D. For Fairfield, Virgil Procaccini was 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and two RBI while Brandon O’Sullivan went 3-for-3.

Aerco International 8, Greentree Toyota 3 – Kyle Mangold went 3-for-3 with a pair of runs scored and CJ Landgrebe turned an unassisted double play to lead Aerco. For Greentree, Jacob Burden collected three hits while Colton Maroney doubled and Kai Hedin played well in the field.

Taunton Press 23, DaSilva Law 15 – Michael Cirone, Ryan Rosenberger and Matt Lindell powered the Taunton offense as Julian Lewis and Jordan Salvesen played well in the field. For DaSilva, Logan Walsh had a double and a single while Jeremy Fellin scored a pair of runs.

Greentree Toyota 4, Robert S. Ponsky DDS 3 – Timmy Drotar had a pair of hits while Jordan Marussich drove in the winning run in the bottom of the fifth to lead Greentree. Tony Frangione anchored the defensive effort.

Coldwell Banker/Tendler Realtors 11, Fairfield County Irrigation 6 – Connor Roche drove in three runs and Adam Israel went 4-for-4 to lead Coldwell/Tendler. For Fairfield, Matt Argraves was 4-for-4 while Luca Imbimbo collected three hits. Nicholas Eisele was spectacular on defense.

Mobil 1 Lube Express 12, Taunton Press 8 – Julian Dunn went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles and Alexander Ekstrom scored the winning run to lead Mobil 1, which rallied for five runs in the top of the sixth. For Taunton, Robby Lasher and Tommy Rahr had three hits apiece as David Kent, Alex Bedini and Austin Huffman anchored the D.

Robert S. Ponsky DDS 4, Aerco International 2 – Jack O’Neil went 3-for-3 and Patrick Rowley played solid third base to lead Aerco.

Honeywell 13, BW Retail Real Estate 12 – Chase Wurtz had four hits and Zach Aumueller played stellar defense at first to lead BW. Sean Reilly also played well.

Apex Glass versus Honeywell – CJ Dunn played great in the field and Mark Dowling went 3-for-4 with three RBI to pace Apex.
