Marcus Tracy has been named to the 27th annual PARADE All-America High School soccer team.
The team is selected by coaches, scouts and recruiters and will officially be announced in the Sunday, May 22, edition of PARADE. The team includes 35 players from 11 states, with California boasting 12 players.
Many members of the PARADE All-America team have gone on to star on college and professional teams. In the fall, Tracy â who helped lead the Newtown High School boysâ soccer team to a CIAC Class LL state championship last November â will be playing soccer for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
There are 32 former PARADE All-Americans on the United States Menâs National Team and 64 former PARADE All-Americans playing Major League Soccer.
