Home School Day

The Glebe House Museum and Gertrude Jekyll Garden will hold its third annual Home School Day at the museum on Wednesday, June 1. The program is for children ages 5 to 17 and will begin at 9:30 am and last approximately two hours. Home-schooled children throughout the state are invited to attend.

This learning experience, which is held at a unique historical, religious, and cultural landmark, involves hands-on activities such as quill writing, making horn books, and playing colonial games.

Storyteller Joyce Marie Rayno will share wonderful stories and legends of Old Woodbury.

The cost per child is $6 or $5 per child if there are two or more children registering from the same household. One adult per household is free, and each additional adult is $6.
