Cancer Survivors Day To Be

Celebrated June 5

DANBURY — Danbury Hospital in conjunction with Ann’s Place, The Home of I Can, and the American Cancer Society, are hosting the 8th Annual National Cancer Survivors Day on Sunday, June 5, from 9 to 11 am.  The program takes place at the Ethan Allen Hotel, 21 Lake Avenue Extension.  Registration opens at 8:30, and the program begins at 9.

The event features welcome and introductory remarks by Patrice Hough, manager of the  Praxair Cancer Center at Danbury Hospital, community residents who will share inspirational readings of survivorship, and music by young local talents.
