Newtown High School is serving soup, bread, and cookies until 2 pm today, May 18, for free for those without power.

Coffee, tea, and water are also available.

Soup flavors available are Creamy Chicken and Dumpling, Lightly Curried Cauliflower Spinach (Vegetarian), and Mexican Tortilla Soup.

Everything is being served in the school's culinary room, near the high school's cafetorium, 12 Berkshire Road.

Service personnel working to restore roads and power are also welcome.
