To The Editor:

I will be attending the Newtown Democratic Caucus on Tuesday, May 24, at 6:30 pm, at the Newtown Middle School Auditorium, to support Eva Bermudez Zimmerman to be our candidate for State Representative for the 106th District for Connecticut. I would ask all registered Democratic voters to join me in supporting Eva.

I have known Eva for several years and worked with her on the Democratic Town Committee. I can attest that Eva handles all matters by doing her research, listening, and fighting for what is right. While Eva served on the Newtown Legislative Council, she fought to prevent neighborhood school closures and to protect the services we rely on.

Eva is a community organizer, which has given her the knowledge and skills required to be our State Rep. She knows how the legislative process works, knows many people within the Capitol community, and knows how to write policy. She will get things done in Hartford for Newtown!

Eva is committed to Newtown and will work very hard for the benefit of our community. Please join me on May 24th to support Eva as our Democratic candidate for State Rep.
