Stephen J. Ferrell of Newtown participated in the 53 annual commencement ceremony at Paul Smithâs, the College of the Adirondacks, on Sunday, May 7. Stephen received an associate degree in ecology and environmental technology.
Dana Marie Passero
Dana Marie Passero is a graduate from the class of 2000 at Loyola Marymont University, Los Angeles. She was conferred the degree of bachelor of business administration in business marketing. She is a deans list recipient and a member of Alpha Phi sorority. Dana was a 1996 Newtown High School graduate.

Newtown resident Mathew M. Raino graduated from the University of South Carolina with double major in financial management and business science during a ceremony May 5. Mathew participated in the schoolâs intramural program for lacrosse. Having completed an internship from Merril Lynch, he is currently looking for employment. He is a 1996 graduate of Newtown High School.

Newtown resident Anne R. Tornillo received a degree from Central Connecticut State University during graduation ceremonies held on May 20. The keynote speaker for the commencement ceremonies was Governor John Rowland.
Jonas Campe
Jonas Campe, son of Gediminas and Audre Campe of Newtown, received his degree during commencement exercises May 18th at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center, Manhattan. He graduated with honors from the School of Visual Arts, receiving a degree in illustration and cartooning. Jonas currently resides in New York City where he is pursuing a career as a freelance artist.
