Truck Into Bridge

Police report tractor-trailer truck driver Wilson Cancel, 55, of Bronx, N.Y., was driving westbound on Church Hill Road about 9:30 am May 15 when his trailer struck the Housatonic Railroad overpass near Wire Road. Cancel was not injured. The collision caused minor damage to the trailer and the bridge, police said. Police issued Cancel an infraction ticket on a charge of failure to obey state traffic commission signs and markings.
