Understanding Learning Styles

NORWALK — The Connecticut Association for Children and Adults with Learning Disabilities (CACLD) will present “Understanding Learning Styles — A Neuropsychological Perspective” with Gary Isenberg at the McManus Room of the Westport Library on Tuesday, May 6, from 7 to 8:45 pm. The workshop is designed to offer useful information for parents and professionals dealing with all children.

This program is part of CACLD’s 2003 Family Education Series, which was funded by a grant from The Westport Woman’s League.

Dr Isenberg, a pediatric neuropsychologist in private practice and on the staff of the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, will outline how a child’s neuropsychological profile can be used to identify primary learning styles to guide intervention strategies. Four major subtypes of learning disorders will be discussed and detailed. Intervention strategies will be provided.

This program is free of charge and open to the public. Registration is required. Call 838-5010 to register.
