Special Services On Sunday

On May 18 Community Presbyterian Church in Newtown will hold a special outreach service for those “looking to learn more of God’s mercy and grace in these turbulent times.”

Adult Sunday school begins at 9:45 am. The current topic is “Effectual Time Management.” There will be time for questions and answers.

Morning worship begins at 11 am on “The Mercy of God,” especially in today’s world. This will examine God’s mercy and free grace in light of current events, such as war and illness. Evening worship is at 6 pm.

All are welcome to any of these opportunities for growth and fellowship. Located in front of the flagpole on Main Street, Community Presbyterian Church offers Sunday school classes and nursery for children as well as midweek Bible studies and groups. For more information, call 748-0163.
