Jasper Ress went 3-for-3, Tom Selleck banged out a pair of hits, and Jon Kemph drove in a pair of runs to lead the rally. Jesse Furphy slammed the door on Ridgefield with some stellar pitching. Scudder Baggett also pitched well.

Tucker Schmidt had a pair of singles, Jeff Spencer and Jeff Keating had doubles, and Tory Deakin had a triple. George Zaruba, Tyler Edwards, and Herlof Sorenson combined for nine strikeouts for Edwards Construction. Zaruba led the game off with a majestic homerun to dead center.

Family HealthCare 8, Robert S. Ponsky DDS 2 â Strong pitching performances by Daniel Tomascak, Chris Caufield and Sean Kennedy lead Family HealthCare to the win. Thomas Santaniello sparked the defense. For Ponsky, Brandon Bowen pitched well while Robert Carroll went 3-for-3. Kyle Packer and Derek Kreswon each went 2-for-3 at the plate.

Â Scott Boisvert added a key hit and made an excellent outfield play. Garrett Quinn pitched well for the Eagles while John Wlasuk played well defensively. Brandon Rosenberger and Tim Roberts had strong pitching performances for Family Health Center.

Acorn Electric 10, Henry Gellert 7 â David Gerics (3-for-3), Michael Senf (2-for-3) and Gavin Scallon (2-for-3) provided the offensive muscle for Acorn while Daniel Gustafson (2 Ks) and Jordan Hensel (1K) anchored the pitching. For Gellert, David Cartisano turned in some outstanding plays at first base, Matt Vavrek was strong behind the plate and James Cochrane turned in a fine defensive effort as well. Patrick Hogenauer led Gellert at the plate.
My Place Pizza 5, Union Savings 1 â Trey Trudell, Oliver Powers and Christopher Tenney combined on the mount for the win. Connor Blanc, Brandon Ziman and John McCorkle played well. For Union, Sean Fahey had a big hit and made a great play at second while Clayton Makuch had a pair of hits and drove in a run.
Hickey Septic 7, Union Savings 2 â Sean Burson went 3-for-3 and Eric Samuelson and Thomas Johnston collected two hits apiece to lead Hickey to the win. For Union, Matthew Pruner went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles while Luke Shearin singled, walked and stole two bases.

Richard Sandler and Burson combined for 10 strikeouts in four innings of mound work.

William Pitt Real Estate 9, Associated Refuse 6 â Daniel Poeltl doubled and Andrew Cameron and Zachary Stone banged out singles to lead William Pitt to the win. Poeltl also pitched well, striking out three batters. For Associated, Devon DiNicola, Zachary Carfi and Nick Barreto hit the ball well while Andrew Kelley pitched well.
