Roger P. Crevier

Roger P. Crevier, 79, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of 56 years of Annette (Charette) Crevier, died May 8 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Lowell, Mass., son of the late Arthur and Rose (Comtois) Crevier, and had lived in Wethersfield for the last 16 years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Philip R. and Nancy Crevier of Newtown, and Paul R. and Martha Crevier of Orleans, Mass.; a daughter and son-in-law, Aline Y. and Paul Donovan of Salem, N.H.; five grandchildren, Yvonne Crevier, Renee Roeder, Diane Donovan, Katie Rose Crevier, and Nathan Crevier; two great-grandchildren, Bridget and Grant Roeder; and many nieces and nephews.

Prior to his retirement in 1990, Mr Crevier was a college professor at Central Connecticut State University. He was a graduate of Hillyer College, and he received his master’s degree in engineering at Central Connecticut State University. He was a member and officer of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and he was a very active member of Mended Hearts.

The funeral was held May 12 from The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Incarnation Church, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield. Burial will be private.
