Richard J. Jensen

Richard J. Jensen, 75, of Golden Hill Road, Danbury, died at Danbury Hospital on May 10.

He was born in Marine City, Mich., on April 14, 1928.

He is survived by four children, Sheila Cole of Newtown; Kathleen Bopp of New Fairfield; Richard Jensen, Jr, and Lisa Lionette, of Putnam Lake, N.Y.; his first wife, Theresa Stevens of Putnam Lake; two sisters, Agnes Achaty and Lucy Perkins of Michigan; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his second wife, Sandra Jo (Tompkins) Jensen and a brother, Harvey Jensen.

After moving to Danbury, he worked at Barden Corporation for many years. Richard was an active member of the Hat City Riders Motorcycle Club.

Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, on Friday, from 5 to 8 pm. Burial will take place at South Dover Rural Cemetery in Wingdale, N.Y., on Saturday, at 10 am.
