Program On Skin Cancer At Danbury Hospital
DANBURY â A comprehensive program addressing the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancer will be discussed at the Danbury Hospital Medical Town Meeting, âStay Wise To The Risk Of Sun Exposure & Skin Cancer,â on Tuesday, May 20, from 7 to 8:30 pm.
 The free community health and wellness program sponsored by Danbury Hospital will take place in the John C. Creasy Center for Health Education auditorium, located at 24 Hospital Avenue.
The featured speaker is dermatologist Graeme Lipper, MD, Danbury Hospital Department of Medicine, Section of Dermatology, who is a practicing physician, 57 North Street, Danbury.
 Patrice Hough, manager of The Praxair Cancer Center at Danbury Hospital, will facilitate the evening program, which will be followed by a question and answer session.
Join the Danbury Hospitalâs board certified dermatologists, oncology nurses, and other health care professionals in the fight against skin cancer on Wednesday and Thursday, May 21â22, from 6 to 8 pm.
Free skin cancer risk assessments and screenings for men and women will be conducted at The Praxair Cancer Center at Danbury Hospital located on the first floor, Stroock Building (Locust Avenue entrance). The screening is encouraged especially for people who have no dermatologist or have no health insurance.
Skin cancer screenings will be provided by board certified Danbury Hospital dermatologists, inclucing Barry Goldbert, William Notaro, Barry Goldbert, Grace Federman, Stuart Kittay, Jeffrey Knispel, Jonathan Zirn, Graeme Lipper, and Alicia Zalka, and physician assistants Andrea Thompson and Marya Woodruff.
